as bettors yank the trafficking case back into doubt, the guilty verdict now no surer than heads or tails

TATE CONVICTION ODDS CRASH TO A COIN-FLIP

BUCHAREST, December 31, 2030 — Andrew Tate's odds of a guilty verdict in Romania's human-trafficking case have collapsed to a coin-flip, an outcome traders priced at 46 per cent. The market that once leaned toward conviction now shrugs.

The slide was fast. Ten points gone, the wires say, as fresh money bet the case would fray before it ever reached a verdict. Volume spiked; certainty did not.

Tate has denied every charge from the start. For years the market treated his conviction as likely. Now it treats it as a shrug — a case that once looked closed, suddenly wide open again.
